It took me almost 15 years to figure out how to do it, but now, my husband Chris and I are making a Gulf Island life complete with peach trees, geranium-scoffing deer and cell phone dead-zones.

I started this business shortly after moving to Gabriola Island to take up a life of writing, sailing, gardening, art-making. City folks tend to refer to this as early retirement. Islanders just call it living a good life…..Full story of Kim Lear Communication coming soon to the blog.
